Amy, Sailor Moon goodies. BC, tickets to the heavy-metal show of your choice. No One, either some CDs or some power tools. Martha's Friend, an electric blanket. (Elena, when you show up, you'd get access to the world's largest bookstore/coffeeshop). Miss T, a new coat to keep you from catching the sniffles so often.
I wrote a new blog and hit up Twitter while I had the chance but probably won't be back until after Christmas, which I truly regret. But unless Santa can get my files cleaned up and reprogrammed in the next 48 hours, it ain't happening.
So, my darlings, I wish you a happy time with your loved ones, and a snoot full of holiday cheer. Wish I could be there with you--love you all.

Well there were three problems with DH. Fox wasn't behind it, it's on Friday nights and it is slow sometimes.
I know they gave it a second season but they rarely did ads for it and kept it on Fridays to die. They never tried another night at another time.
that's a shame, time slots can make or break a show, they obviously felt it wasn't worth it.
though considering all the crap stuff they do show..
if stuff doesn't really rate they can't be bothered.
beats me what tv is going to do in the future when all these crappy reality shows seem to be the highest rating things around! That is a trend I really hope dies out soon.
Networks can start spending some money on the actually talented writers and actors about, instead of these cheap shows with people they don't have to pay cause they call it a contest, and/or that have no discernible talent. There are just so many of them!
But while such vast numbers of the public watch them they seem here to stay.
Well Reality is not only cheap but there is no end to the amount of fame whores out there just waiting to get there 15 minutes.
People will have to get sick of being used for very little pay while the networks make a ton of money of them.
Did you know there are schools that teach people how to get into reality TV.

it is, like you said, only when these people realise they are being massively exploited by these shows, and the public becomes tired of watching some person you don't knows life being passed off as entertainment that it might change
but there are so many who seem to believe it is their chance for fame, or infamy at least
I was glad those balloon people got some jail time
and I saw they are thinking of cancelling that Jersey Shore because of complaints from the Italian American society or something, I haven't seen it bar bits on other shows but it looks dreadful.
I can understand people watching a contest type show, I've watch some series of them, they have a purpose. But how boring does your own life have to be, that you sit and watch other people's lives on tv?
The NJ officials are asking that it be gotten rid of.
I was watching or listening to something and they were talking about it. They even have place that will help you find the right reality show for you. it is a business now.

MissT: WOW!!! A year is a long process. Here, you're "approved", trained and out on the streets ~ packing heat in a few months! I'm not sure whether that's so good all the time either! I think some of the USA's police people really should be sent to "personality developement" classes. Some of them are so darn serious! Like Steven Seagal! Well, to be fair to him, I do think being a "lawman" on the bad streets of Jefferson Parish IS a serious job. That Seagal don't take no shit from the criminal element; but, he does smile and is very polite to plain ole good folk. That I do like!
Sweetcheeks: What's up with you? How's your 2010 going so far? Did you get to check out that video for "Dead And Gone"? Who knew Bam was such a good actor?!!! Awww... he cries (and pukes too.) Now, that is realistic. I mean, that does happen when a person is very upset. Whether they've drinking (as Bam is in the video) or not.
And, I think "Dead And Gone" is a really, really good song and The Eyes look incredible, of course!!!

We certainty do sugarplum. I was finally able to buy season one of True Blood just last week. It was on sale at Target for $17.99!
Season three starts in June, but right now I'm trying to keep up with the Sookie Stackhouse novels since the show is based on what takes place on the book. So far I've just started on Dead as a Doornail, which is book #5. Season three is going to be based on the third book titled Club Dead.
And oh, I totally suggest you order the Tru Blood beverage on HBO's online store. It's actually pretty good, although there is caffeine content in it, but the bottles are totally cool to keep as souvenirs, though they'll run you $16 for a four pack, plus the $14 shipping and handling.
Trust me when I say those bottles are pretty heavy.

yes you get some amazing discounts, we have flights from here to our state capital range from $49 with only carry on baggage, up to $400 for the business class, which on an 1 1/2 hr flight means you sit up the front - wow
the cheaper seats go faster though so if you book late you can miss out, like if you have to get somewhere without much warning but you do wonder how it can be such a huge range!
